Characterised by a straw-yellow and crystalline colour, at the nose it shows surprising notes of white flowers mixed with citrus and fruity hints, such as pear and pineapple. The flavour is dry, enveloping and full flavoured, with a creamy texture and a fresh, mineral finish.
Serve straight, cold or with crushed ice and a slice of orange.
Amaro is the perfect balance of flavours, with hints of liquorice from the gentian root, peppermint and orange: a variety of flavours, in perfect balance. Immediate minty taste with a pleasant aftertaste of liquorice and bitter orange.
The clean aromas of red cherry and berries are enhanced by a floral touch. Initially sweet with a nice glycerine sensation in the mouth, it follows a slightly bitter note with a noticeable tannic bite on the lively flavours of red fruits. Classically dry finishes with a hint of heat derived from the significant alcoholic content.
Leonardi dressing. Ingredients: acetified cooked grape must. Contains sulphites. Cooked grape must acetified and aged in different wooden barrels for 30 years. A teaspoon at the beginning of the meal to stimulate your appetite, or at the end of the meal for its digestive properties. It goes mell with any kind of food, from appetiser to dessert, for its creamy texture and its sweet-and-sour taste.
Leonardi Balsamic glaze is produced exclusively with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP, mixed with concentrated grape Must of Modena and modified corn starch (GMO and gluten free). The starch is the thickening agent to provide a creamy texture.
Other glazes on the market have various additives (xantham gum, glucose syrup, caramel colouring, preservatives...). Leonardi Glaze has no other additive than the Corn starch for natural thickness.
Organic Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. Ingredients: cooked grape must, wine vinegar. Contains sulphites. 100% from organic farming. Very versatile, sweet-and-sour with minimum 6% acidity according to EU reg. 510/2006.
Delicate with bitter notes despite freshly pressed, well-balanced spiciness and long finish with notes of dried fruits. Aromas of lemon leaves and freshly cut grass. The colour is brilliant light green.
Intense fruity oil variety (monocultivar coratina olive). Coratina variety olives are the ultimate expression of the land in Apulia. They give a robust olive oil, as rustic and true as those who cultivate it. The Intense Fruity is an olive oil at once spicy and with just a hint of astringency. Its unique characteristic is that it contains three times the antioxidant polyphenols of any other olive oil. A rich deep green with shades of gold, it is perfumed with irrepressible notes of dill, fennel, artichoke, pepper and hay. In the mouth, it unleashes a riot of vegetable tones; powerful, rich, cut through with phenols perfectly integrated into its structure – a wonderfully balanced taste. Imposing, its closing notes are deliciously spicy and it has a long finish of vegetable tones.
The Caporale presents an intense ruby red colour with light garnet reflections. At the nose, it's delicate, clean and fruity with hints of raspberry, plum, blackberry and with a spicy finish. The flavour is fresh, despite its alcoholic note, moderately fruity and easy to drink.
