Every family has a Zio Cacca. In ours, it’s Uncle Luca. When CJ was learning to speak, “Zio Luca” somehow became “Zio Cacca” - and the name stuck ever since.

Luca belongs to a generation caught between rising costs and big dreams. Raised between Italy and New Zealand, he grew up with the belief that wine should bring people together, not be reserved for special occasions. He loves a good glass of Prosecco, but he always keeps an eye on value.

So we made this one for him. A Prosecco for everyday moments…cin cin Zio Cacca!

85–100% Glera, with up to 15% permitted complementary varieties including Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Nero vinified as a white wine, Verdiso, Bianchetta Trevigiana, Perera and Glera Lunga, where grown on the estate.

Tasting notes

Excellent on its own as an aperitif with a selection of appetisers. Its freshness and versatility make it a great match for seafood, cured meats, pasta, risotto and white meats.

Production process

Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness to preserve freshness and acidity. After gentle pressing, the must is clarified and fermented in stainless steel at 16–18°C. The resulting base wine undergoes a second fermentation in autoclave using selected yeasts, creating its fine and lively bubbles. The Prosecco is then stored in the cellar at 10–12°C under controlled conditions.
