100% Garganega

Pale yellow in colour. A fine, delicate, sweet nose of wildflowers: chamomile, elderflower, and iris. Mineral on the palate, with an aftertaste of sweet almonds, typical of sweet Garganega. Since the wine is not fruit-driven but. has mineral and floral notes that cleanse the palate, it is food-friendly with lots of dishes.

Perfect with risotto, white-fleshed fish, crudo, sushi and salads. As vegetables great with peas, broccoli, white and green asparagus.

Soave Classico, Veneto. Altitude between 100 and 250 mt above sea level. South-east, south-west exposure. Igneous basalt (volcanic) soil.

Bunches are destemmed and processed using a "non-reductive" technique, without any addition of SO2: the indigenous microflora is therefore able to develop and give character to the must. Between 1 and 8 hours of maceration on the skins enhance this process. After 24 hours of static sedimentation, the must undergoes its alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 16- 18°C. The wine then ages, prior to being bottled. 

The variety Garganega was introduced in the Classic area 2,000 years ago by the Romans. The label has a simple decoration taken from a 17th century book of neoclassic drawings. Inama is a family winery who has been producing wine for over fifty years. Now, in their third generation, their goal is to produce unique wines in order to represent their vision of this land, without getting caught up in the styles and trends of the moment.
