JK'S SECRET LAMB RECIPE
This is an old recipe that was given to me a few years ago by an old Italian man from Casale. I love putting the anchovies in it because you can't actually taste them but they bring out the flavour of the lamb. The I TRE FRATELLI Prosecco also gives it a special twist. Really simple, but really tasty.
Put the leg of lamb in a big container and add all the ingredients: anchovies, garlic, rosemary, a sip of I tre fratelli Prosecco, a spoon of the Balsamic glaze, olive oil, salt and a bit of pepper. Cover the container with a lid and keep it in the fridge for at least 8 hours before cooking it on the barbecue. Shake the container every 2 hours so that the lamb absorbs all the ingredients. Cook it for 15 minutes at high temperature on the fat side and then turn it around, lower the barbecue temperature and cook it according to your own preference. Enjoy with a Nonno Mario or a Ciccio...or finish the bottle of I tre fratelli since it's open!
